The College of New Caledonia Prepares Students for the Future
Serving professionals, career changers and career starters in the areas of business, leadership, health care, trades, technology and those looking for a little fun. Students come to CNC Community & Continuing Education for a fresh start, to make themselves better and their future brighter.
With flexible course schedules and offerings we serve the full demographic of our city. For the working professional there’s Certificate programs that are offered on part-time, evenings and/or weekend formats like the popular Bookkeeping Certificate. We also serve a large cohort of International students in our Post-Diploma programs, like Human Resources Management and Information Technology.
At CNC Community & Continuing Ed we’re constantly evolving and innovating our offerings and delivery methods to meet the needs of the learner. For example we’re working with the College on the Digital Delivery Initiative (or DDI), funded by Northern Gateway, this will allow real-time synchronized delivery of instructor-led learning to classrooms across multiple CNC campuses. Like Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Mackenzie, Quesnel and Vanderhoof.
We’re listening to the regions needs and keeping our finger on the pulse of industry trends. There are a number of offerings “under-development”, like Agro-Business and Big Data programs, to name a couple, and some programs that we’re refreshing like Nursing Unit Assistant and Medical Device Reprocessing.
