Students attending the College of New Caledonia will be facing a 2% tuition hike in the next school year.  CNC’s Board of Governors approved the hike at its Board meeting Friday in Prince George.

The increase will mean another $120,000 for the college in the 2018 – 2019 school year.  The two percent increase, which is the maximum mandated by the provincial government, is considered the standard increase for post-secondary schools in the province.

Despite the bump, CNC President Henry Reiser said, “tuition at CNC remains the second lowest [of BC Colleges] in the province.”
