AleFest Grows Again

PRINCE GEORGE — Kiwanis Ale Fest just keeps growing and growing. The event, which takes place in the last week of January, recently expanded to add Cask Week to the event at the Two Rivers Gallery. This year, Northern BC’s brew masters will be offering Brew Master Dinners. 

“We partnered with the Ramada Hotel and the Coast Inn of the North. The Ramada [dinner] will be on Friday evening, the Coast Hotel will be on Saturday night,” explains Eric Ball with Crossroads Brewery. “We’re bringing brewmasters from our Northern BC breweries and joining together with the head executive chefs from these hotels. They’re going to be merging the beer flavours into the meals.”

It will be a four-course meal with beer tasters and the food itself will be infused with beer. The events take place on January 26th and 27th, but organizers are hoping to get tickets sold earlier rather than later to ensure the executive chefs have all they need to make the evenings wonderful experiences.
