PRINCE GEORGE- Students from around the world attend the College of New Caledonia but today, the culture of students from here at home was celebrated. Drummers, singers, and dancers kicked off the event Tuesday afternoon. Presenters travelled from across the region to showcase their skills and share stories. Students of all backgrounds got involved in aboriginal traditions. “It is so imperative that students participate and acknowledge that we’re on Lheidl T’enneh traditional territories,” said Aboriginal Resource Centre advisor, Darlene McIntosh, “all of our traditional storytelling, our knowledge, our medicine people, our artists, it’s incredible.”
