PRINCE GEORGE – A surprise for shoppers at the Pine Centre mall today when dancing broke out in the middle of the food court. Students from Prince George Secondary School and local RCMP officers were among the participants.

Valentine Nwede organized the event and has been rehearsing with the dance group for two months. He says it was important for his young dancers to have a positive view of police.

“It’s good to build that confidence, they are the good guys, we all rely on them, they keep our community safe,” says Valentine Nwede, dance instructor.

Valentine has been volunteering with high schools throughout Prince George teaching afro dance.
