Missing Smithers Woman

RCMP and Search and rescue in Smithers are searching for woman who has been missing since Saturday October 14th. At approxtimatley 9:20 am Police in Smithers received the report that 53 year old Frances Brown has gone missing in the Kitseguecla Rd area. She is described as aboriginal, at a height of 5-foot-8 and weighing 119 pounds. She has long brown and grey hair with brown eyes. She became separated from her cousin when they were mushroom picking and did not return to their vehicle. Bulkley Valley Search & Rescue commenced a ground search early this morning, and are using the assistance of a helicopter.
