The Robson Valley will see some funding through the BC Rural Dividend Fund.
McBride will receive $100,000 to carry out Phase 2 of their Mountain Trails Network.
That will add an additional 6.7 kilometres to the current trail system.
Meantime, Dunster Community Forest is also receiving nearly $10,000.
Communities like McBride, Valemount and Mackenzie will also be receiving over $99,700 to provide training and support to owners of existing small- and medium-sized businesses.
The funding is all apart of the $10.1 million that is being awarded provincially to 90 eligible local governments and First Nations.
