Young Canadian Music Festival Set For This Weekend

It will be the first of it’s kind in Prince George as the Young Canadian Music festival is taking place this weekend.
The Community Arts Council, The Prince George Symphony Orchestra and the Prince George Conservatory of Music will host the first annual event.
Students will work with music professionals through a series of workshops and performance opportunities.
The events begin on Friday with the Composition, Piano, Wind and Brass masterclasses.
On Saturday, the PGSO Concerto Competition will take place along with the Chamber Music Concert.
Events will take place at Vanier Hall and the Prince George Conservatory of Music.
