Council Gets Thanked for Angle Parking

Council was presented with a thanks from Downtown Prince George this week. Downtown Prince George had nothing but praise for the City’s decision to convert 5th Avenue into angle parking. It’s hoping the same will happen with 7th and 2nd as well. There is also some hope the City may consider a traffic light at Queensway and 2nd. Some comments were made about what are called the “bulb outs” at the two-way streets and Councillor Jillian Merrick says she also has something on her wish list.
