Halloween Costume Rules Vary in District 57

Whether your child will wear a Halloween costume to school in District 57 or not on Tuesday depends on what school they attend. Many parents have been receiving notes home through the past week about Halloween celebrations and they vary from school to school. Some have been asked not to dress up while others have been reminded not to dress as clowns or bring fake weapons. Last year in the wake of a school threat involving clowns the costumes were banned.
