Quesnel Vehicle Thief Caught

Quesnel Mounties say they have arrested and charged an alleged vehicle thief after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle early Monday morning.
Police were notified around 12:45 am that a vehicle had been left running with the keys in the ignition behind a Quesnel business. As the owner came outside he witnessed a man speed away in his vehicle.
RCMP member’s located the vehicle in the Bouchie Lake area, and that’s when the suspect fled.
The suspect abandoned the car and was hiding out in nearby bushes, before the police service dog team found the man, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The 26 year old faces four charges including flight from police and possession of property obtained by crime.
