Oct 31, 2017 | 4:07 PM
Burn Survivors will meet with the public at the golf and curling club in Prince George on Wednesday and the goal is to raise awareness about creating a program that supports survivors in Northern BC. Debbie Wood survived being burned by the stove when she was 3 years old and says Northern BC is the 2nd largest area in the province with burns survivors. The Future is Mine program operates in Vancouver. The event is open to the public where they will meet with Burn Survivors. Prince George Fire Fighters are also holding a silent auction with money going towards the burn fund.
