The Event That is Bringing Together Teens and Local Artists

The Teen Art Workshop and Showcase is a two-part event that will mentor young artists over the next few months beginning November 25th. The idea is to get teens involved in the arts and to build relationship with local artists. 

Local artist, Carla Joseph said that she is open to letting the teens know everything she knows about art in hopes of helping them get started in the industry. Joseph is one of the many artists participating in the event as a mentor.

The workshop is where the teens will have an opportunity to meet the artists and begin the mentorship process. The showcase will display the art submissions by the teens and will be held at the Prince George Public Library running from February to March, 2018.
