Women Of City Hall Honoured By IWAU

The Inspiring Women Among Us festival continues this week. Today, leaders from different departments within the City of Prince George formed a panel. They discussed their individual career paths, their roles now, and the challenges they’ve faced. “There are a surprising number of very inspiring women working in the city,” said organizer, Annie Booth. The goal of the event was to show the public how important each department is to the City. “These are the people who make your life wonderful,” Booth added, “they clear the snow, they dispatch emergency, they keep the place that you live running smoothly.” Panelists also answered questions from the public, and offered advice to future leaders.
