Talktober is Underway

Around 20 people were present at yesterday’s “Talktober” event, alongside  Mayor Lyn Hall and several city councillors. The first of two public information sessions was held at the Prince George Public Library where Mayor Hall had a presentation revolving around three main topics: infrastructure, revamping the downtown and advocacy priorities. 

The presentation ended with a question period where citizens had questions about taxes being spent on projects including the new fire hall and the four seasons pool among other things.

One citizen brought up the air quality around her residence and Mayor Hall said that he will be adding it to his agenda for 2018.

“We wanted to get back out to the community after our referendum, just have a conversation about what we heard today. People’s concerns or people saying look you’re doing this very well,” Mayor Lyn Hall
