The 24th annual Festival of Trees has come to an end after ten days of festivities. An estimated 13,000 people were in attendance and 600 volunteers made sure the event was a success.
“We had a great reception from the community this year, our attendance seemed to be up. We were really busy every day and everyone came to all our event’s sold out really well,” said Allison McCray, Event Coordinator.
The money raised from this year’s event will go to funding equipment to the mammography unit of the Breast Imaging Clinic.
Next year is the 25th anniversary of the event and Judy Neiser, Spirit of the North Health Foundation, promises that it will be another beautiful year.
