The Prince George Hospice House recently underwent renovations to its facility, including the kitchen, fence and facade. The Hospice Society provides end of life care and has been in need of renovations for a while.
“We’ve had our fence falling down for years. We’ve had the outside of the house although warm and friendly we just wanted people to go through and be proud of how we looked and what we did,” said Donna Flood, Executive Director, Prince George Hospice Society.
The Northern Regional Construction Association and its members funded the materials, labor and services needed to complete the $120,000 project.
Flood said that the improvements allow them to do what they do, which is provide and care for people.
