Suspect Arrested for Home Invasion

Local mounties responded to a home invasion on Saturday morning. Police were called to a home on the 1300 block of Strathcona Avenue, where the suspects then fled to a home on the 2200 block of Oak Street. One man is suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Two male suspects were arrested shortly after. One of the men is 20-year-old Julien Naseem Lazarre, who is facing multiple charges including attempted murder, armed robbery, break and enter and failing to comply twice with a warrant. Police believe the home invasion to be targeted, but there is no risk to the general public.

The investigation is ongoing and if anyone has information, they are asked to contact Prince George RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
