Gingerbread Toys won the 2017 Schleich Contest for its event earlier this year when shoppers were able to create animal masks that matched Schleich’s line of hand-painted animals. The company picked Gingerbread Toys as the winner from many other toy stores across the States and Canada. Owner, Nancy Condon, says it was a great surprise. “We sent pictures in of some of the kids that were in the play day,” Condon adds, “we usually send the pictures in and I had completely forgotten that I had done it so it was an early Christmas surprise!” Schleich is a toy company that makes handpainted animals and it has a history that dates back to the 1930’s. Gingerbread Toys was awarded $319.
