Preparation For Pink Shirt Day

Jan 3, 2018 | 1:07 PM

Big Brothers Big Sisters says kids who are mentored are up to four times less likely to become bullies than kids who aren’t mentored. That’s why the organization is hosting Pink Shirt Day activities again this year. The event raises awareness for anti-bullying efforts. Although it’s still more than a month away, Big Brothers Big Sisters is already preparing. Businesses can pre-order pink shirts through the organization by calling the office at (250) 563-7410 or emailing kathryn.dawson@bigbrothersbigsisters.ca. All of the money raised stays in PG and helps kids in mentorship programs.
