Each month, thousands of items are borrowed from the Prince George Public Library. Its most popular collection, doesn’t even take up much room on the bookshelves. The demand is for audio books which are flying off the virtual shelves.
The library has thousands of audiobooks available, both online and on compact disc. They range from self-help to romance. Many the books are narrated by a professional reader.
Some of the authors prefer to read their own book, giving the listener a personal sound. For the popular titles, the library most often has the item in a number of formats. In the past year, the library has adopted an online program where the library card holder will not experience wait lists.
