Extensive Damage In First Avenue Fire

PRINCE GEORGE- Damage is pegged at $250,000 after a house fire in the 3300 block of  1st Avenue early last night.  Seventeen firefighters from three halls were called out around 7 pm and arrived to find smoke coming from the main floor of the home, in the early stages of being renovated. Crews attempted an offensive attack, but the fire was too aggressive, severely damaging the home.No one was home at the time of the fire. There were no injuries to any of the firefighters.The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
