Unidentified Capsules Found In Multivitamin Bottle

Health Canada is advising the public that a Flintstones Plus Iron multivitamin bottle for children was found containing unidentified capsules instead of chewable tablets. The opened bottle had the safety seal removed and was returned in Longueuil, QC, back in December 2017. At this point in time, it is the only incident reported involving this product. Health Canada suggests that parents inspect the bottle to make sure it contains the proper tablets before giving it to your child, check the packaging before buying it to make sure it hasn’t been tampered with, consult with your doctor if your child has health concerns and report any serious event or complaint about a product to Health Canada.

Health Canada is currently testing the unidentified capsules and will release any additional information as necessary.
