77 Year Old Platform Diver

PRINCE GEORGE — When some of us think of seniors and sport, we may think of shuffleboard. Virginia Hoover is one senior who prefers a diving board. Virginia has always loved the feeling of flying since the age of 12. Now, 77 Virginia she is still launching herself from platforms and into the water. Virginia lives in the town of Telkwa. Once a month, she drives over four and half hours to the nearest diving tower located in Prince George. Staying active in your older years can improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being. For Virginia Hoover when it comes to staying fit she dives right in.
