Winter Storm Warning Issued For BC Central Interior

PRINCE GEORGE — There’s a winter storm warning in effect for Prince George as a system moves into the BC Central Interior this evening, giving heavy snowfall to the region with 30 to 50 centimetres forecasted by Wednesday night.The storm will gradually move southward Wednesday evening. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Road closures are possible.

RCMP are reminding motorists to prepare for the winter weather when travelling. Top up your vehicle fluids, have winter tires on your vehicle and carry an emergency kit with blankets, snacks and water.
