Kordyban Lodge Celebrates Five Years

PRINCE GEORGE – The community has reached another milestone in cancer treatment. It was five years ago today the Kordyban Lodge opened its doors,  with a special donation from the lodge’s namesake, Mary Kordyban. 
The lodge provides a home-away-from-home for cancer patients and their families from the outlying regions. The 36-bed facility is the newest four such facilities the Canadian Cancer Society oversees in BC and since those doors opened, it has served 3,500 people.
