Rolling Mix Concrete Stays True to Their Roots
For more than 53 years, Rolling Mix Concrete has been a business that understands the value of family and community.
It all started in 1963 by “Rolling” Joe Paolucci. Joe began with just 2 cement mixers, a strong knowledge of concrete, and a handful of loyal customers. Fresh out of high school in 1986, Joe’s son John joined his father to follow in his dad’s footsteps. By 1999, the company had grown to include 6 cement mixers, 2 pump trucks, and a gravel truck. That same year, Rolling Mix Concrete suffered the loss of the company patriarch, “Rolling” Joe Paolucci. It was then that John, along with his brother-in-law, Dan Gialleonardo, took over company operations. After an unfortunate battle with cancer, Rolling Mix Concrete lost Dan in 2012. John continues as Company President to this day and the fleet has expanded to include 12 cement mixers, 4 pump trucks, 4 gravel trucks and the company now includes a multitude of products and services.
Rolling Mix Concrete has never forgotten their roots.
“The past 53 years has seen Prince George grow and expand in all directions”, says company president John Paolucci, “from the booming 60s to the depression of the 80s, Rolling Mix has shared the trials and tribulations of our hometown. I plan to continue to involve Rolling Mix in this locality in our future endeavours and carry forward our commitment to lay a solid foundation in and around Prince George.”
