PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George is known as the starting point for exploring Northern BC. The local Naturalist Club has organized a walking group to explore the wilderness opportunities just minutes away from our home.
This week, Wilson Park was the gathering point for the Wednesday Walkers. The walking group meet twice a month and walk in various parks and greenway areas of the city.
The walks start in the morning and completed by noon.
Member of the Prince George Naturalist Club, Dora Hunter has led several of the walking groups and introduces people to things they may not have observed before.
Residents who would like to explore mother nature at a gradual pace can find more information on the Prince George Naturalist Club web site.
