UNBC Alumni Award Recipients Announced

PRINCE GEORGE – Two UNBC alumni have recently received a Distinguished Alumni Award for their leadership and service in their respected field.
Sam Milligan received the Professional Excellence Award for his contributions to the social, cultural and economic well-being of society. Milligan is a healthcare provider who has worked with marginalized populations around the world.
Helen Domshy earned the UNBC Alumni Community Service Award for her volunteer efforts. Domshy is a retired medical radiation technologist and a long-time champion for women’s health and education.
“As UNBC graduates, both Sam and Helen have made outstanding contributions to their communities and professions in which they serve,” said UNBC President Dr. Daniel Weeks. “They are exceptional leaders who continue to influence those around them.”
