Suspect Arrested Following Home Invasion
PRINCE GEORGE – Local RCMP arrested a suspect following a home invasion on Davis Road just before midnight on Wednesday. Investigators say this was a targeted attack in relation to the drug trade.
When police arrived at the house, one woman was found injured among six people, three being children. Police say televisions, laptops, bicycles and jewelry were stolen by masked suspects. Investigators later located two men and four women at a home on Lisgar Crescent. A loaded gun was seized at the scene and most of the stolen property was recovered.
Charges have been approved by the BC Prosecution Service against a local resident, 31-year-old Zacharie Xavier Bock. Those include: three counts of robbery with a firearm, three counts of pointing a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm while banned, break and enter with intent, disguise with intent, use of a firearm during commission of an offence, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, possession of a firearm without a licence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by a crime. Bock remains in custody until his court appearance next Wednesday.
A 42-year-old woman originally from Takla Landing was also arrested, but released on a promise to appear in court on November 28th.
