Suspects Arrested For Posing Stick As Firearm

PRINCE GEORGE – Mounties arrested two suspects after reports said they were pointing a shotgun at people along the 1900 block of Victoria Street.

When police arrived, they found that the shotgun was a hockey stick covered with black tape.

Charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and pointing a firearm are being considered against the 32-year-old and 30-year-old Prince George men. They were held in custody overnight Thursday and will appear in court Friday.
