Recplace Drive Extension Nearing Completion

PRINCE GEORGE- City crews are hard at work replacing water mains and constructing a new route between Recplace Drive near the Prince George Golf and Curling Club and the Pine Centre Mall parking lot. The new road will make for easier access from the mall to an area of town that has boomed in construction in recent years. The water main replacement will increase safety in the area, by ensuring water flow is sufficient for firefighting, as well as improve the reliability of water systems. The city says the entire project is expected to be complete by October, however, the new road will open in the third week of August.
