Cougars Release Goaltender Tavin Grant

The Prince George Cougars have parted ways with goaltender Tavin Grant. The 20 year old suited in 37 of the teams 72 games last season and posted a goals against average of 3.74. Grant first suited up for the Cats in the 2014-15 season for 18 games and had since played a season with both the Spruce Kings and the Cougars. The team only has 3 roster spots for 20 year old players, one of which Grant no longer holds. In a tweet today, the Cougars thanked Grant for his dedication to the team.
