PRINCE GEORGE – After months of delays and controversy over its public access schedule, Masich Place Stadium is nearly ready to open. Gates to the upgraded facility will open Tuesday morning at 6 am.  That’s when the public will finally be able to get a first-hand look at the $4.8 million in upgrades for the facility. Besides a new surface for the 400m track, the stadium features a new artificial turf surface in the infield. It will be the new home field for high school football and UNBC soccer teams. Other groups that are booked for the stadium this fall include the PG Minor Football Association, PG Road Runners, PG Track and Field and School District 57. Further information about the stadium can be found online.
