Conservative MP Tours Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE – Conservative MP Randy Hoback spent the day touring Prince George businesses as part of his “Defend Local Jobs” campaign.
In light of the current trade war with the United States and the grave impact it’s having on Canadian businesses, the Conservative Members of the International Trade Committee have embarked on a cross-country fact-finding mission.
“What we’re doing is we’re talking to different sectors and industries about the Canada-U.S. relationship and how the tariffs are impacting them and their labour forces,” explains Hoback. “Just making sure that we have policies in place when we go back this fall.
He says he’s heard firsthand the challenges businesses, especially those with a significant manufacturing sector like Prince George, are facing.
