TEDxUNBC Announces First Speaker

PRINCE GEORGE – Shawn Caldera is the first speaker named for TedX UNBC.  Caldera is the owner and operator of Volcanic Gaming, one of the first E-Sports start-ups in Western Canada.

Caldera also teaches youth and teens at the College of New Caledonia where he is an instructor for programming and game design.  He is self-taught in the areas of web design, graphic design, digital education, digital marketing/social media management, and event management. 

This year’s theme for the November 17th event is ‘Destination – Future’.
