PRINCE GEORGE – Two more incumbents have announced their intentions to run for Council again.

Garth Frizzell says he would focus on adding to the community’s diversified economy and strong fiscal accountability.

“The growth of high-tech has been core to my interests, and I was excited this spring to get word that the long advocated high-speed fibre-optic data transmission line north has been approved after almost a decade of advocacy.  That will be a real game-changer, and we can see its immediate impact in our new focus on data centres.”

This would be Frizzell’s fourth term on Council.

And Murry Krause is trying for his seventh term on Council.

“It has been a great honour to have served the citizens of Prince George for six terms on City Council, and I want to officially announce that I will be seeking a 7th term in the upcoming Local Government Elections, he says. “I believe I have worked diligently on behalf of all of our citizens, through my active participation at Council Meetings, and with the leadership role I have played on a number of City Committees.”
