PRINCE GEORGE – School District 57 board of trustees will meet for the first time in the 2018-2019 school year this evening. Trustees will tackle a number of things, including a potential partnership between the district and France. That will give French teachers an opportunity to connect and collaborate with their counterparts across the world to develop genuine opportunities for students. The Board is requesting funding from the province to accommodate travel costs once board members are elected in Mackenzie and Valemount. And the big item on tonight’s agenda: the district is once again celebrating a surplus.
