House Fire In VLA Early Monday Morning

PRINCE GEORGE — Fire rescue crews from three halls responded to a residential fire in the 2100 block of Tamarack Street just after 4:30 a.m. on Monday.

When crews arrived, the carport, two vehicles and one side of the house was on fire. There were six people in the house and all were able to safely leave the building.

The damage to the house is estimated at $250,000.00, with the house next door suffering $10,000.00 in damages.

The cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation by fire crews and the RCMP. No injuries were reported.
