Downtown Renewable Energy System Open House

PRINCE GEORGE — October 24th marks Bioenergy Day in North America and the city celebrated by holding an open house for its Downtown Renewable Energy System.
The system uses waste from Lakeland Mills to heat water that is then transported to 11 buildings in downtown Prince George.
The system is over 90% efficient and runs almost 3 kilometres.
