UPDATE: Duplex Fire On Pinewood Avenue

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a reported structure fire in the 3800 block of Pinewood Avenue at approximately 1:30 pm Friday.
When crews arrived they found smoke and flames coming from one side of a duplex and the fire which had spread into the roof system was extinguished.
The damage of the fire was estimated at $200,000 but the cause is unknown and is under investigation. All occupants were able to exit the building safely and there were no injuries to any fire personnel.
