Quesnel’s Myles Mattila has a new mental health program he’s rolling out through his online platform MindRight. The hockey player has begun a Peer To Peer Support system that is being tested in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.  The former Cariboo Cougar, who brought Mental Health Awareness games to the organization, is now working with the league he plays in to find a player, a coach, or another person close to each team and have them be an in-house ambassador for players. It’s not the only steps Mattila is taking in order to better connect players with the available resources.
