PRINCE GEORGE — A Christmas night to forget for the occupants of a home in the 100 block of McDermid Drive.
Prince George Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Denis Poulin says 15 firefighters from three halls responded to a fire there at around 5 p.m. tonight (Dec.25).
“On arrival, crews found smoke and flame venting out the roof of the home,” he says. “The fire was quickly extinguished but the home sustained extensive damage.”
Poulin says the cause of the fire and damage to the home is undetermined at this time.
