CNC Announces New Entrance Awards
PRINCE GEORGE – As part of its 50th-anniversary celebrations, the College of New Caledonia has dedicated $100,000 dollars for 94 awards for the upcoming academic year.
The prizes are unprecedented for CNC, as the institution has never offered any sort of accolade for applying students. Students are automatically entered to win one of the awards upon applying to various programs at CNC.
79 of the awards will be for students applying for the health sciences, community and continuing education, trades, business and human services programs. An additional 15 have been dedicated for international, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal domestic students, with each group having 5 devoted prizes.
The entrance award deadline is 11:59 p.m. on March 17, 2019. Students who have already applied for the fall 2019 or spring 2020 semester have been automatically entered for a chance to receive an award.
