MLA displays close Bond with Spruce Kings

The Spruce Kings arrived safe and sound last night from Victoria where they wrapped up their four-game sweep of the Victoria Grizzlies. The location of games 3 and 4 of the Coastal Conference Championship were pretty convenient for Prince George’s Shirley Bond, who discovered the team’s bus down the street from the BC Legislature earlier in the week. Being a huge Spruce Kings fan, Bond took in the series from the Grizzlies home rink along with other members of parliament, where she got to celebrate. She then got to celebrate some more in the leg.
