PRINCE GEORGE- TEDxUNBC will be returning for the third year this fall and the theme is Past the Future. Its goal is to engage the community on topics that affect them now and into the future, from fanciful flying cars to the effects of climate change. Submissions for speakers will be accepted until June 6. Whether you’re in the arts, sciences, or technology sector, organizers say they want to hear your vision of the future. Speakers can apply online by sending a three-minute video explaining their speech that examines the future world. The TEDxUNBC event is scheduled for October 5 at the University’s Canfor theatre. To apply, visit the UNBC website. Tickets go on sale this summer.
