Spruce Kings take 3-2 Doyle Cup lead

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings are one win away from winning the Doyle Cup.

This after beating the Brooks Bandits 4-1 Thursday night before 1935 fans at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena to take a 3-2 series lead.

Patrick Cozzi led the way with two goals while Ben Poisson and Corey Cunningham scored the other two goals.

The Spruce Kings outshot the Bandits 31-25.

Prince George hosts Game 6 on Saturday night.
