Spruce Kings win Doyle Cup

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings beat the Brooks Bandits 4-2 tonight at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena to win the Doyle Cup in 6 games, 4-2.

The Kings came back from a 2-1 deficit in the third to win the title with Ben Brar tying the game at 2 before Chong Min Lee scored the go ahead third goal with under five minutes to play.

Patrick Cozzi scored into the empty net to clinch the win.

The Kings next play at the nationals in Brooks starting next weekend.
