Devils steal first Bandits showdown

It was the first of four meetings of the season last night between the Westwood Pub Devils and the RPR Mechanical/JR Construction Bandits. That is not including any possible playoff meetings, which has happened the last number of years. Not being played in Kin 1 though, as the floor is on its way in. First game scheduled for the main stage on Monday, so for now, Kin 2 the place to play. The Devils, already big winners in their first two games this season, did it again last night. Pearce Watson and Scott Anderson kicked in 2 of the teams 5 first period goals, giving them a lead they wouldn’t surrender during this 12-5 contest. Andrew Schwab also tacked on four of his own and the Devils improved to 3-0 on the season.
