Highflying Edmonton hooper commits to TWolves

We’ve shared a lot of Timberwolves commitments this offseason, but perhaps no one more jaw-dropping than their recent Men’s Basketball commit.

Meet Fareed Shittu. The 6’5” Edmonton basketball player has only been playing ball for two seasons, but from a quick look at his highlight tape, it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Raw talent is what the team’s getting in this commit.

After growing up playing soccer, the forward picked up a basketball and fell in love in Grade 11. His athleticism blew crowds away over the last two years, with his highschool winning the Edmonton City Championship last year followed by a second place this year.
